Happy 60th Birthday Mom!! 

Tonight the old West Med crew got together at Claim Jumpers.  It was so much fun seeing everyone and it brought up some great old memories. 
Those years that I worked at WM were so much fun and its hard to find what we had in other places.  It sounds so cheesy to say this but we were like a family.  Helped each other in time of need and drove each other nuts other times. 
It was a great night.

First we had to pay for all 4 cats to got the vet to get their weekly shots and routine lab work.  Next came Taunto’s teeth extractions.  All that cost us over 700 bucks.  Now, we just picked up our truck from the mechanic and yada yada yada 1100 bucks later we have our truck back. 
So much for getting ahead. 

Guess what the UPS delivered at my doorstep at 10 am.  Yep my computer.  I am so excited.  Yes, I know I use the laptop a lot more than the desktop but I like to do my digital art on my desktop.
I couldn’t wait to open it, but I had to wait.  I needed to go back to sleep since I worked last night and I have to work again tonight.
(fast foward)
I woke up around 4 and Pat and I went to open the box.  I rattled at us.  I told him that I had heard that sound when the UPS guy set it down.  He got that look…you know what I am talking about.  That look that there might be something wrong.  Anyway, we open the box, take a look inside the computer and we see the hard drive totally out of the housing.  It was loose and banging all over the place. :(
I am going to be so mad if my computer doesn’t work due to their inadequacies.

UPDATE:
So far so good…
I am off for the next couple of days and will start the tedious task of installing my programs.  :(

This was taken ~half and hour after he got home from his teeth extraction.  He was so cute rolling around and doing kitty bread on the air.  I just had to take a picture.  Patrick turned to me and asked if he really got his teeth pulled.  He is loving his pain medicine and you can tell by the size of his pupils.  *lol*

We got explicit instructions not to feed him for 2 hours and then give him only wet food.  Well he had other plans.  He is not a big fan of the wet food and after he was allowed to eat and a phone call to the vet to make sure it was ok, he ate his dried food. 
He is so happy to be home.

My poor kitty, today he is going to the vet to get his teeth pulled.  They are going to put him to sleep and yank that bad tooth. He is going to be a big hobo cat.  :(
I hate to take him because he won’t understand why we are leaving him there and then when he wakes up why he has a painful mouth.  I hope he is not in too much pain afterward.  He is a trooper tough and I am sure he is going to come out of this just fine.
As you can see by this picture he has a zest for life and nothing will get in his way.

UPDATE:
The vet just called (1:30 pm) and he said Taunto had to have 4 teeth pulled!  (top, bottom, left and right)  I feel so bad for him.  I can’t wait to pick him up at 5 p.m.
